JUST IN: Nigerian Army gun down ISWAP/Boko Haram terrorists in Borno [PHOTOS]

The Nigerian Army’s clearance operations on the battlefield continued as troops of 402 SF Brigade on Monday neutralised several Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP)/Boko Haram terrorists at Timbuktu Triangle in Borno State, northeast region.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that troops recovered large cache of weapons, bombs, 1 Mowag Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC), 1 Troop-Carrying Vehicle (TCV), amongst others.

Similarly, troops 26 Task Force brigade conducted clearance operation and aggressive patrol to Fadagwe village and adjoining settlements in Borno State.

Military sources said the terrorists withdrew in disarray “due to troops superior firepower”. Several operational vehicles of the terrorists were also recovered.
