The All Progressives Congress, APC has zoned its party Chairmanship to the North.
This was made public on Tuesday afternoon after President Muhammadu Buhari met with all the APC Governors to discuss modalities for its upcoming Convention.
Speaking after the meeting, Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-rufai told journalists in the state house; “We have agreed a zoning formula for all the six geopolitical zones and essentially, we swapped. Northern zones will take positions that Southern zones had in the last eight years and vice versa.”
“So, it’s a very simple, equitable and fair formula. We will now go back and consult at the zonal level, and look at the positions that are available and the process of the convention preparation will start in earnest. So by the grace of God on the 26th of March, we will have done a national convention.”
POLITICS NIGERIA earlier reported that the party has agreed to postpone its convention scheduled for February 26th to March 26th due to internal crises and factions within the party.
Until there is a valid Constitution to operate the country, all is in vain. We can only continue to kick the can down the road. True democracy cannot stand on a Military provided Constitution; it is akin to enforcing an obnoxious contract in a court of law.

Na wao you are talking about zoning of position in your party, while vastmajority of Nigerians are in abject agony because of fuel problem and agonizing poverty level your party has foisted on us.
