BREAKING: Ilorin-born Islamic scholar, Baba Lagbaji, is dead [PHOTO]

Sheikh Abdullah Yusuf ‘Baba Lagbaji’, a top cleric in Ilorin, Kwara State, North-Central Nigeria, is dead.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that ‘Baba Lagbaji’, the Grand Khalifah of Zummurat Muhmin, died on Friday.

The cause of his death and actual age cannot be established as of the time of publishing this report. He is expected to be buried today, Saturday, at Agbaji in Ilorin, in accordance with Islamic rites.

Many Nigerian Muslims have taken to social media to express their sadness about the cleric’s demise.
