A popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ibraheem Ebunoluwa ‘Al Hareery’, has declared Nigeria “dead”
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Sheikh Ebunoluwa lambasted Nigerian politicians for creating problems they are not solving.
‘Al Hareery’ expressed his displeasure with the state of the nation during a lecture he delivered recently at a programme organized by Halqif Islamiyat Foundation, Ketu Alapere Lagos State.
“Nigeria is dead. May God help us receive it,” he said in his native Yoruba.
“If one travels out, you’ll see that Nigeria is lifeless. Because for all the years Nigeria has been borrowing money, I have not seen anything tangible it has executed.”
The preacher added: “2023 (election) is here. Our politicians will tell us there are challenges; problems they created. They’ll also tell us they are solution to our problems. There’s no hope for Nigeria in 2023.”
