The National Leader of the All progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has met with the consensus candidate for the position of Party National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu.
Tinubu, who is currently in Abuja negotiating to emerge as the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, met with Abdullahi behind closed doors.
POLITICS NIGERIA earlier reported that Adamu is contesting the position with Ex-Governors, Tanko Almukara, Abdulaziz yari and Ali Modu Sheriff. Sheriff later dropped out of the race.
Although it’s unclear the reason for their meeting, it’s largely perceived to be related to the Party’s convention scheduled for Saturday. Photos below;
