Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed Breaks Silence on PDP Defection Rumors

Governor Bala Mohammed has firmly denied reports suggesting he plans to leave the Peoples Democratic Party.

The Bauchi State governor said he remains loyal to the PDP and has no intention of joining any other political platform.

He made this position known during a Ramadan Iftar meeting with political stakeholders from ten local government areas of Bauchi State at the Government House.

The gathering brought together party leaders, traditional figures, and community representatives.

Governor Mohammed said the strong support he continues to receive from the people of Bauchi has strengthened his commitment to the PDP.

He described loyalty and consistency as vital elements for sustaining democracy in Nigeria’s multi-party system.

The governor stressed that unity within the party is necessary for effective governance and long-term development.

He urged party members and supporters to remain focused and avoid distractions fueled by political speculation.
