Atiku, Ezekwesili, Shehu Sani, Saraki, others react to Kaduna Train Attack

Several Dignitaries have weighed in on a recent attack on a Train by Terrorists in Kaduna state.

POLITICS NIGERIA earlier reported that dare devil terrorists derailed a train on its way from Abuja to Kaduna using explosives before abducting and killing several passengers.

Reacting to the Development, Former Vice President and 2023 Presidential Aspirant, Atiku Abubakar condemned the attack via a statement on social media.

“The attack on Abuja to Kaduna bound train that reportedly left many injured and some kidnapped is condemnable. The government’s commitment to the protection of the life and property of the people must remain sacrosanct.”

“My thoughts and prayers are with all who are affected. As One People, there is no enemy, foreign or domestic, that we cannot defeat.”

Former Minister, Oby Ezekwesili wrote; “May God comfort the families of Chinelo and other victims of the terrorist attack of Kaduna bound train.”

“It is the greatest tragedy of life to be ruled by a political class that places zero value on life. Someday, Citizens will eventually understand this and collectively act.”

Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani added: “We need our own North Western Security Network NWSN to tackle bandits.”

“If you are traveling to and from Kaduna by road or rail,until you pass the villages of Rijana or Katari before you know that you have made your journey; anything short of that your life is on a scale of probability.”

“Dr Chinelo’s last tweet is a powerful and angelic phrase that will forever remind us of all the victims and their tragic experiences.”

“The terrorists silenced her as a result of the bullets wounds she sustained, but we will never forget.May her gentle soul rest in Peace. Amen.”

Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki had this to say about the incident; “I am monitoring the reports of the bombing of the Abuja-Kaduna train tracks with great concern. We need real solutions to address this menace and end the loss of lives of innocent Nigerians.”

“My prayers are with the hundreds of people and their families who are affected by this senseless attack. I pray that the attackers will be apprehended forthwith and our security agencies enhance their efforts on all our roads, ports, and railways”.
