BREAKING: APC fixes price for presidential nomination form

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has pegged its presidential nomination and expression of interest forms in respect of the 2023 election at N100 million.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morgan, announced this on Wednesday at a briefing with newsmen in Abuja.

So far, APC politicians that have announced their intention to run for the highest office in the land include the party’s National Leader, Bola Tinubu; Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo; Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi; former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha; and Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige.

Earlier, the ongoing National Executive Council (NEC) of the APC transferred its powers to the National Working Committee (NWC) under the leadership of Senator Abdullahi Adamu for the next 90 days.

National Secretary of APC, Senator Iyiola Omisore told the gathering that Senate President Ahmed Lawan moved the motion and was seconded by Governor Nasir El-rufai.
