JUST IN: Iran Prepares for Retaliation, Vows ‘Crushing’ Attack on US and Israel

Iran has promised a response to the recent US and Israeli attacks, warning that the retaliation will be “crushing.”

On Saturday, explosions were reported in several Iranian cities, including Kermanshah, Lorestan, Tabriz, Isfahan, and Karaj.

Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, said, “The State of Israel launched a pre-emptive attack against Iran to remove threats to the State of Israel.”

The strikes come after a 12-day air conflict between Israel and Iran in June and follow repeated US-Israeli warnings that further action would be taken if Iran continued its nuclear and ballistic missile programmes.

An Iranian official told Reuters that Tehran is preparing for counterattacks that will be crushing.

According to reports obtained by Politics Nigeria, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was not in Tehran during the missile strikes and has been moved to a secure location.

Responding to the attacks, Ebrahim Azizi, Head of the National Security Commission of the Iranian parliament, said Israel and the US “have gone down a path which is no longer in their control.”

He added on X, “We warned you! Now you have started down a path which end is no longer in your control.”
