Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi has stepped down for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban of Borgu kingdom.
Fayemi while addressing delegates at Eagles Square, announced his withdrawal from the race and called on his supporters to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tinubu is now the frontline candidate and is forecasted to win the keenly contested primary elections.
Fayemi added that Tinubu was more than qualified to lead the country and should be given and opportunity to.
Tinubu expressed serious joy at Fayemi’s announcement and exchanged pleasantries with him almost immediately after his speech.
