Prophet Ufuoma Bernard, founder of The Godist Church, on Friday, said the Catholic Church in Nigeria “will never sack” the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, “because it respects freedom of speech”.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Fr. Mbaka has been in the news lately after describing Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as a “stingy man”.
The cleric attracted online condemnation after he said the former Anambra State governor cannot win the 2023 general election because he is “stingy”.
While speaking during one of his programmes in Enugu, the cleric maintained that it would be impossible for Obi to become Nigeria’s president, adding that an old man president is better than a ‘stingy young man’.
Fr. Mbaka loves hugging the limelight with relish. In the past, he has insulted President Muhammadu Buhari and former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar.
“The Catholic Church is a wise organization. It will never sack Mbaka because it respects freedom of speech,” Bernard wrote on his known Facebook page.
