Kanu reacts to Ebubeagu’s killing of 7 youths in Imo

Kingsley ‘Kanunta’ Kanu, brother of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has condemned Sunday’s killing of seven youths in Oru East Local Government Area (LGA) of Imo State by Ebubeagu security operative.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that they were said to have been killed while returning from a traditional wedding in Awomama, Oru East LGA.

Kingsley who accused governors Hope Uzodinma and Dave Umahi of Imo and Ebonyi states respectively of “competing in killing Igbo youths”, put the number of those killed at 14.

“The massacre of 14 innocent #Biafran youths in Awo omamma by Gov Uzodinma’s Ebubeagu militia in Imo state today is unacceptable and must be condemned.
“@Govhopeuzodinma and @DaveUmahi are competing in killing #BiafranYouths,” Kingsley said via his known Twitter handle on Monday.

The Police Spokesperson, Micheal Abattam, confirmed the incident and said that Mohammed Ahmed Barde, the Commissioner of Police has ordered investigations into the killing.
