PDP loyalists in accident crash in planned protest against Imo ruling [PHOTOS]

Some supporters of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP were injured on Monday, January 20, while trying to get to the venue of the planned protest ordered by it’s chairman.

However, some of the party men were seen protesting the outcome of last week’s Supreme Court ruling of Imo gubernatorial election with the party chairman, Uche Secondus and other party leaders in Abuja.

The protest organised by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja, pull many of the many of the party supporters and loyalists together, but various others sustained injuries from an accident while on their way to the event.

Reports has it that the truck carrying the protesting members swerved off the road with many of them sustaining injury consequently from the resulting crash.

Sahara Reporters reports that the accident happened at the Transcorp Hilton junction.

Daily Trust also reported that four members of the party sustained injuries adding that the accident happened when the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle.
