A Popular member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW in Lagos, Sulaimon Lawal Onaolapo popularly known as ‘Arikuyeri’ has been killed.
‘Arikuyeri’ was murdered in broad day light by members of a rival cult group in an on-going battle for control of motor parks in Mile 12 area of Lagos.
The late Onaolapo was in charge of the park under the Mile 12 bridge.
Footage seen by POLITICS NIGERIA reveal three men bludgeoning Arikuyeri, who was motionless on the ground with sticks and other sharp objects.
The deceased was aged 42.
Confirming the incident, Lagos Police Spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin said; “One person died but normalcy has been restored. Police are on the ground,”.
