“This is getting out of hand” – Igbokwe attacks Rufai Oseni over war statement

Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, on Tuesday said Arise Television’s anchor, Rufai Oseni, is becoming disruptive.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Oseni had shared his thoughts recently on the television station’s programme ‘The Morning Show’, arguing in favour of the much-talk-about Igbo Presidency.

According to him: “For the Igbo man that says an Igbo Presidency is not tenable, we should also remind him that his kinsmen died in the civil war (1967-1970). And if he says his kinsmen that died have no right to Presidency, then he is saying that those that died in the civil war probably died in vain.

“We forget that the marginalisation complained about during the civil war is still the marginalisation happening today.

“So, if these people are complaining and they say Igbo Presidency is the pathway for reassurance, and an Igbo man says nothing for you, that you have to make peace with Nigeria, then it speaks volumes of what the person said and who the person is.

“They should be careful of the things they say to their own people, just because of political benefits.”

Seemingly responding to those comments from Oseni, Igbokwe, the Special Adviser for Drainage and Water Resources to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, accused the journalist of “inciting” the Igbo people against other tribes.

“Anybody who knows Rufai Oseni working for Arise TV should tell him to stop inciting the Igbo.

“We have had enough tragedies, shed enough blood and lost enough homes etc

“The young man is getting out of hand,” Igbokwe wrote on his known Facebook page.

  1. THE Rufai GUY IS AN HYPOCRITE.

He was found and exposed for anti-social behaviour recently, although made to apologize for his misbehaviour on national TV by his employer.

THESE PEOPLE WOULD CRY FOUL ALL THE TIME ON TV. MEANWHILE THEY ARE WORST OFF WHEN CUGHT IN THE SAME ACT THEY SERMONIZE AGAINST.

You be sure Rufai was not around during the Nigerian civil war. He was not born then, therefore can advocate and solicit war for his company of IGNORAMUSES.

    1. Rufai wasn’t born during the Nigeria Civil war doesn’t mean a thing. We always learn from history whether we are witness to it or not. Joe Igbokwe talks too much when it concerns to his stomach refil.
