The sit-at-home exercise ordered by the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to solidarise with its Leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who is expected to appear in Abuja court on Tuesday, recorded compliance in Aba, Abia State.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Abia-born Kanu is expected today at the appellate court against the federal government in Abuja, the Nigerian capital city.
As of the time of filing this report on Tuesday morning, while some Aba residents stayed indoors, a few others moved around.
The roads were empty, like in previous exercises.
Banks did not open for business except for a sprinkling of customers who made use of their Automated Machines (ATMs) for their transactions.
Most markets within the metropolis were also not open while motor parks did not operate at full capacity.
There is no case of a clash between the sit-at-home enforcers and security operatives yet.
