The presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 election, Peter Obi, has held a meeting with a former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, shared photos from their meeting on his verified Twitter page, @PeterObi, on Thursday morning.
“I recently visited my senior brother, H.E. @GEJonathan to exchange views on an array of serious national interest questions,” he wrote.
Obi is, however, yet to share details of his visit with Jonathan as of the time of publishing this report.

Meanwhile, if Nigeria’s presidential election was held today, Obi would win, according to an opinion poll conducted by NOI Polls.
The poll, commissioned by ANAP Foundation was conducted this month (September) and suggests a three-horse presidential race between Obi, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) came fourth in the poll and was described as a ‘dark horse’.
