The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has stated that there will be no sit-at-home exercise in igboland on Tuesday, October 4th.
This was also resonated in a statement released by the group on Sunday signed by its media director, Emma Powerful.
Powerful insisted that IPOB leadership did not authorise such purported order.
The group said although Tuesday is Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s court date, he will not be appearing in court. The statement read in part, “We, the global movement and family of IPOB wish to remind Biafrans, friends of Biafra and lovers of freedom across the world that IPOB is not issuing a sit-at-home order on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.”
“The day is a day when IPOB is going to challenge the Federal Government over the illegal abduction and extraordinary rendition of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya to Nigeria.”
“The Federal Government must provide evidence to the world on how and why they kidnapped and renditioned Kanu to Nigeria at Umuahia High Court.”
“Yes that day is his court date but he is not appearing in court on that day, therefore, there will be no sit-at-home. We want every Biafran both home and in the diaspora to ignore such rumours, and anybody who is responsible for peddling this kind of falsehood should stop it immediately. IPOB leadership has not authorised such a purported order.”
Nigeria Government missed the track by kidnapping and rendition of kanu to Nigeria! They should apologise to him. Its against human rights and God to kidnap
Looking at your name I don’t expect much different, propaganda and hypocracy will kill all of you.He talk he will in his comfort in Europe and nonsense here
I see no reasons why Nigeria Government has still holding the IPOB’S LEADER in detention up to this time around or awaiting Peter Obi triumph into the political power to realise their leader
HE SHOULD SUE GOVERNMENT AND MAKE THEM PAY FOR DAMAGES.
Igbo kwenu. At last leader has freely spokened. Let us rejoice. Happy independence Nigerians.
