The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, led by its Director-General/Chief Executive Officer, Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu, carried out a sensitization on COVID-19 at the meeting of the Association of Commodity Market Women and Men of Nigeria, (ACMWAMN), which was held at the Office of the Iyaloja-General, Mrs Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, Alausa, Ikeja, today, Tuesday, 10th March 2020.
Speaking at the meeting, the DG/CEO LASEMA, Dr Oke-Osanyintolu reiterated the need for market women and men to observe personal hygiene both at home and at their various market locations.
The LASEMA Boss highlighted some safety measures to be adhered to by market women and men in order to stay safe during this pandemic called Corona Virus, COVID-19.
He further advised that all the members of ACMWAMN, to try as much as possible to go to their various market locations and enlighten all the market women and men so as to prevent this deadly disease from spreading because the safety of lives and properties of all Lagos residents is paramount to the administration of Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
