Vice-Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Kashim Shettima, has said the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 election, Peter Obi, has nothing to offer to Nigerians.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Shettima spoke on Thursday at the Shehu Musa Yar’adua Centre in Abuja during a one-day symposium on dissecting his principal, Bola Tinubu’s manifesto “Renewed Hope 2023: Action Plan for a better Nigeria.”
He played down the challenge of Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, saying he “has nothing to offer apart from dubious statistics.”
Shettima also said Atiku, the presidential flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), would be defeated by Tinubu, arguing that the latter has superior ideas.
The event was attended by the Chairman, Tinubu/Shettima Elders Forum, Gbenga Daniel; Chairman Board of Trustees (BOT), APC Professionals Forum, Isa Yuguda; Senator Musiliu Obanikoro; and other APC stalwarts.
