BREAKING: Nine senators dump PDP, LP, APGA for ADC

Nine senators have defected from their political parties to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The senators are Aminu Tambuwal, representing Sokoto South, who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ADC.

Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe representing Abia South, who defected from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to the ADC and Senator Victor Umeh representing Anambra Central, who defected from the Labour Party (LP) to the ADC.

Senator Ogoshi Onawo representing Nasarawa South, while Senator Ireti Kingibe,  representing the FCT, defected from the LP to the ADC.

Senator Austin Akobundu representing Abia Central, defected from the PDP to the ADC, while Senator Tony Nwoye representing Anambra North, defected from the LP to the ADC, and Sentor Binos Yaroe, representing Adamawa South, defected from the PDP to the ADC.

Senator Lawal Adamu Usman representing Kaduna Central, defected from the PDP to the ADC.

With the defections, APC now has 85 senators, ADC has 9 senators, PDP 8, NNPP 1, NDC 1, APGA 1, and SDP 1.
