Former pres’l aspirant, Adamu Garba gets new appointment [PICS]

Ex-presidential aspirant of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba, on Wednesday announced that he has been appointed as the Co-Chairman of Finance and Budget Committee of the National Bola Tinubu-Kashim Shettima Unity Cup.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Garba who shared this update via his verified Twitter handle said the project was conceived to unearth football talents that could go on to shine in Europe.

“At the strategic meeting of National Tinubu-Shettima Unity Cup under the leadership of Distinguished Senator Tanko Almakura and technical guidance of Daniel Amokachi (the bull), I was appointed as the Co-Chairman of Finance and Budget committee of the coming football tournament,” Garba said.

“The plan is to mobilize the whole of the country into a series of intra and interstates football competition, from grassroots to national level, a hallmark of grassroots campaign.

“In the end, talent could be discovered and may be nominated to play in one of the best European clubs.

“Tinubu-Shettima cares for Nigerians for all. Sports and entertainment will be a stable, branded, strong and profitable industry for our country and the citizens.

“Tinubu-Shettima want Nigeria where every sector is utilized to its maximum potential for the benefit of all.”
