Peter Obi at Chatham House: Obidients told not to say anything

Aisha Yesufu, a top supporter of Peter Obi, presidential flag-bearer of the Labour Party, on Monday asked fellow ‘Obidients’ to stay calm during the former Anambra State governor’s engagement at the Chatham House in London, United Kingdom (UK).

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Obi accepted the invitation of the global policy institution to speak on ‘Nigeria’s 2023 Elections: A vision for policy change and institutional reforms.’

He is expected to use the opportunity to speak to the global audience about his run for the Nigerian presidency and his motivation.

Yesufu, a social-political activist, alleged that some persons plan to distract Obi at today’s event.

“If you are a Mr Peter Obi supporter, please do not say anything when you are in the hall. Do not react to anything.

“If there are people who stand up and start shouting, or doing anything, do not say anything. Just stay calmly.

“That is the way you can be of best help to Mr Peter Obi, because if there is anybody who wants to cause a distraction, they would want to get a reaction from you, so that it would look like his supporters are this and that.

“Your own is to listen to Mr Peter Obi,” Yesufu said in a video posted across her social media pages.
