It appears that the removal of Muhammed Sanusi as the emir of Kano is fast making him the most sought after elite in Nigeria as Lagos State University, (LASU), Ojo has included him in its convocation ceremony plans.
The university announced on Friday that Mr Sanusi will be the chairman of its 24th convocation ceremony scheduled to hold on March 26.
This is coming barely a week after he was removed by Kano State government for insubordination.
Before now, the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai blessed Mr Sanusi with two appointments including Chancellor of Kaduna State University.
On the forthcoming convocation in LASU, the vice-chancellor, Olanrewaju Fagbohun, said the president of African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), Benedict Oramah, will deliver lecture on “The Future of Developing Economies in a Digital World”.
A total of 8,959 persons will be awarded certificates in various degrees and diplomas, the university said.
