A broadcaster with Rhythm FM, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Karina Israel, is dead.
Although details of Israel’s death are still sketchy, POLITICS NIGERIA learned that Israel passed away on Tuesday.
A colleague, Amadi Precious confirmed the demise of the female journalist.
The deceased was fondly called in some quarters as “the voice of Port Harcourt”.
“I am still shocked and pained over your demise Kari.
“Lerukwuanya su Badu Oma.
“Deina Mu Iyimbrama.
“Sleep well, and may God rest your soul my dear sister, friend and professional colleague, Karina Israel,” Precious wrote on his known Facebook page with an accompanying picture of the deceased.
Another friend, Gift Eleberi, said: “Oh No oo, Karina Israel. My beloved friend. Please this news is not true. I don’t want to believe it.”
Several other persons on social media have expressed their sadness with the news of Karina’s passing.
