The Osun State chapter of the Social Democratic Party, (SDP) has lost its prominent members to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that the members will be welcomed at the PDP South West unification rally, which is expected to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State capital on Wednesday.
The officials decamping are Hamzat Folaranmi; SDP deputy state chairman, Adetoye Ogungboyega;SDP Senatorial Chairman, Tunde Hamzat; SDP financial secretary, Musibau Shittu; party’s treasurer, Lekan Obisakin; SDP state’s welfare secretary.
Others include: Emiola Fakeye (Leader Ijesa South Federal constituency), Yekini Tawakalit (Leader, Iwo Federal constituency), Sooko Elugbaju Kemade, (Leader, Ife Federal constituency), Sola Ayandirin (Leader Osogbo/Olorunda Federal constituency), Adekunle Adeoye (Leader, Ayedaade Federal constituency), Kanmi Adelani (Leader Egbedore) and Badiru Raheem (Leader, Boluwaduro Federal constituency).
This newspaper also gathered that asides the above mentioned individuals, other prominent members are also joining the train.
