The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, on Monday, visit the Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, over the death of his mother, Hauwau Bello.
Mrs Bello died on Sunday at the age of 101.
During his consolation visit to Kogi governor, Mr Lawan said Mrs Bello’s fruitful life was reflected in the quality of children she produced.
Beyond the condolence, he appreciated the efforts of the governor in the sustenance of peace and security for the people of the state.
He further said the three senators from Kogi, have shown unity in the Senate Assembly’s leadership towards securing beneficial ends for their state.
Mr Bello also appreciated Mr Lawan for his visit as the passage of his mother is “more of celebration, having lived a well-spent life.”
