“In last election, Southeast gave just APC 1.5% of the total votes for the Presidency, SS gave 8.7%, but the NW gave us 30% of the total votes , a staggering 1/3! Heading toward 2027, I think it’ll be suicidal for our party to not zone Senate President position go to the North West,” Garba wrote.
This newspaper reports that barring any last-minute eventuality, the leadership of the APC would soon announce the zoning arrangements of all the presiding and principal offices both in the Senate and the House.
