2027: Ex-Senator Aduda Vows to Deliver FCT for Tinubu After Joining APC

Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, a former Senate Minority Leader who represented the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in the 9th National Assembly, has officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The development was announced on Tuesday via the party’s official X handle.

In a statement, Aduda pledged to secure victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the FCT ahead of the 2027 elections.

He was formally welcomed into the APC by the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, alongside members of the National Working Committee.

The move follows Aduda’s recent resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which he attributed to ongoing internal crises within the party.
