‘Vote Tinubu or Face Thunder’ – Portable Issues Spiritual Warning to Yorubas

Controversial street-hop singer, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, widely known as Portable, has stirred fresh political tension after issuing a strong warning to Yoruba voters ahead of the next general elections, urging them to support President Bola Tinubu or face spiritual consequences.
The singer made the remarks in a video that quickly went viral on social media, as sighted by POLITICS NIGERIA.
In the clip, Portable declared his support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition and warned that any Yoruba person who refuses to vote for the president would face divine punishment.
Portable, who is popularly called the “Zazu” crooner, did not hold back as he invoked traditional deities while addressing his audience. He claimed that opposing Tinubu’s re-election would bring misfortune, especially to those from the South-West region.
He said, “We need peace, we want peace. If you don’t want war in Nigeria, you better vote for Tinubu.
“Thunder and Ogun will strike any Yoruba man who doesn’t. I have been signed, given APC clothes — don’t worry, I wll soon start sharing rice and vegetable oil.”
The singer also alleged that he had been engaged by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to mobilise support for Tinubu.
According to him, preparations are already underway for grassroots campaigning, including distribution of food items to attract voters.
