A Customary Court in Kafanchan, Kaduna state, has sentenced a man, Abubakar Garba, to two years in a correctional centre.

He was jailed for receiving stolen railway tracks.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Garba was arraigned alongside Abdulrahman Isah on a three-count charge of criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property.

The police prosecutor, Insp. Esther Bishen, told the court that a police team while on patrol on May 5 arrested Isah after he entered into the Nigeria Railway Corporation Office in Kafanchan and stole two rail tracks.
