COVID-19: COZA Pastor, Fatoyinbo, cancels Sunday service after criticism

After heavy criticism from the public, the Commonwealth Zion Assembly (COZA), has finally canceled its Sunday service.

The service was meant to hold at its Abuja auditorium.

The refusal of Mr Fatoyinbo to cancel the service had earlier generated furry online.

But on Sunday morning, the church, however, sent a cancelation message to its members.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has now confirmed 26 cases, 22 of the cases happened in Lagos while the other three are in Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, and one in Oyo and Ekiti states.

This newspaper understands that the index case and the second case have both been discharged.

Below are some reactions that forced COZA to cancel its services:

“The president was wrong and we pointed it out. Garba Sheu acted foolishly and was rightly called out. Coza will also endanger people’s lives and we are rightly descending on them.

It is not only people in government who are leaders. ALL leaders should lead by example.
