President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr Garzali Muhammed Abubakar as the Executive Secretary of the National Agricultural Development Fund, Politics Nigeria reports.
The President also approved the appointment of Mrs Aduke Bamidele Hussain as chairman of the governing board of the organisation.
In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity Mr Garba Shehu said the President also approved six members of the governing board of the organisation.
They are Dr Hussaini I. Mohammed (North-Central), Mr Mohammed Umar (North-West), Mr Abdulsalam Yahaya Ahmed (North-East).
Others are Mrs Stella Uzokwe (South-East), Mr Stephen Ikata (South-South) and Mr Olufunlayo Oluwole Faloye (South-West).
