United Nigeria Plane Skids-Off Lagos Airport Runway [VIDEO]

A United Nigeria airplane has skidded-off at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

Politics Nigeria gathered that one of the airplane tires pulled out before it touched-down the runway causing the aircraft to skid.

The Embraer ERJ-145 airplane was said to have been carrying 50 passengers from Abakaliki to Lagos on Wednesday when the incident occurred.

According to the airline operator, all 50 passengers safely disembarked the aircraft after the pilot was “forced to terminate its movement to the apron”.

A visibly terrified passenger who spoke to journalists appreciated the pilot for salvaging the situation.

“The plane started shaking as soon as the tire removed. The pilots managed to land the plane in the bush. It was an emergency landing, and the plane almost caught fire,” he said.
