The Presidential Election Petition Court, PEPC, was forced to step down the hearing of the petition filed by Mr Peter Obi and the Labour Party, LP, against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The court cited a poor schedule of documents being tendered to establish the allegations of irregularities during the February 25, 2023, presidential election.
At Thursday’s proceedings, the court established that the documents were not properly scheduled as ordered by the court. Drama ensued when the documents from the 23 local government areas of Benue state were presented with many discrepancies.
All efforts to reconcile the differences and reschedule the documents were unsuccessful as the errors were beyond immediate solution.
Counsel to Obi and the Labour Party, Chief Emeka Okpoko SAN, sought to use documents not filed to conduct the proceedings, but the move was rejected on the ground of illegality.
The court was forced to step down of the petition and ordered the legal team to re-file the schedule of documents in line with the provisions of the pre-hearing report. This is the third time the tribunal will be stepping down Obi’s petition against Tinubu since hearing on the matter began.
IMAGINE THE SHAMEFUL ACT OF THE UNRULY DISORDERLY BUNCH THAT WANTS TO PRESIDE OVER OUR COUNTRY TO FURTHER PUT OF INDIVIDIAL MESS LIKE WHAT UNRAVELS BEFORE US SUCH AS THEIR OWN DISORGANIZED UNCOORINATED MENATLITY.
The Peter Obi people cannot handle even documents. The most disorganized goons.
SO MUCH FOR THE PROMISE OF A NEW ORDER BY THE ROGUES WHO CANNOT PUT THEIR HOUSE IN ORDER.
