The Team New Nigeria (TNN) group has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to form an inclusive government and restore Nigeria’s standing in the world.
The group stressed that the Tinubu administration has all it takes to make Nigeria a progressive nation.
The TNN urged President Tinubu to take steps towards restoring Nigeria’s standing in the world, strengthening the country’s national security workforce and rebuilding democratic alliances with other nations.
It commended President Tinubu over the appointment of Senator George Akume as the secretary to the government of the federation.
President of the group, Dr. Modibbo Yakubu Farakwai, described Akume as an inspiring, thoughtful and strategic leader with the necessary skills for the role.
Former military president, General Ibrahim Babangida, is the group’s patron.
