Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh, has opened up about her Christian upbringing, stating that she almost became a pastor.
Rivers-born Tonto revealed this in a post on her Instagram page on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
The actress-cum-politician has been in the news on issues regarding her marriage and her recent liposuction surgery.
The mother of one stated that she once held various positions in the church.
Her words, “I grew up In church, I was a Cell leader, I was Department Assistant. I almost became a pastor.
“I still have 70% Village mentality. I am so uncomfortable with revealing clothings. I just could never Learn it!!”
The Nollywood actress contested the 2023 general election in Rivers as the deputy governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the south-south state.
However, a few weeks after the election, Dikeh and the ADC governorship candidate, Tonte Ibraye, were suspended from the party by the Rivers state leadership of the political platform.
Recall that the former reality T.V. star recently revealed that she has a ‘bad heart,’ indicating that she has some medical challenges.
