As part of his efforts to ensure Nigerians are adequately protected in their country, the acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has cautioned Police patrol vehicles against flouting traffic rules.
Egbetokun gave the order on Monday during a strategic meeting with Squadron Commanders of the Police Mobile Force and Special Protection Unit (SPU).
Speaking during the meeting, the new Police chief stressed that the maintenance of law and order as well as the protection of lives properties are the main responsibilities of the police.
The IGP said that the Police officers must strictly adhere to the code of conduct of the Force and conduct themselves in a manner that would command them respect from the public.
He also charged the force to tackle banditry, kidnapping, insurgency and other security threats affecting the country.
NOT REALLY, SOME OF THE EVIDENCE HAVE WEIGHT AND CAN ACTUALLY UPTURN THE ELECTION TECHNICALLY.
THOUGH IT MIGHT NOT AFFECT ALL THE STATES.
