The National Vice President of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Engr. Munnir Atiku Lamido, has been reported missing.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the association’s National Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Muhammad Nura Abdullahi, issued a statement on Friday disclosing the news.
In the statement, Abdullahi conveyed, “We feel compelled to inform the general public and the security agencies that Engr. Munnir Atiku Lamido is missing. Engr. Munnir holds the position of National Vice President at MACBAN.”
He further revealed, “On Friday, the 23rd of June, 2023, he departed from his residence in Katsina State, intending to travel to Kaduna. However, he has been missing since that time.”
According to the statement, Engr. Lamido’s vehicle was discovered on Thursday along the road connecting Jos and Kaduna, near Mararraban Jos town. The vehicle was parked, and all of his mobile phones were found inside. Despite extensive efforts to locate him, there has been no success thus far.
MACBAN has urged anyone with valuable information regarding Lamido’s whereabouts to kindly contact the nearest Police Station or get in touch with their offices nationwide.
