‘You Lack Effective Leadership’ — Adeyanju Blasts Tinubu Over Plateau Killings

Activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has condemned the persistent killings in Plateau State and other parts of the country, describing the situation as evidence of weak leadership and poor governance.

In a statement, Adeyanju said the recurring attacks on citizens were deeply concerning and cast serious doubt on the government’s ability to protect lives and property.

He criticised the response of President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), warning that the continued violence is fuelling perceptions of ineffective leadership in the country.

According to him, the scale and persistence of insecurity are damaging Nigeria’s image both locally and internationally.

Adeyanju added that the government’s failure to address the crisis is eroding public trust and hindering national development, urging authorities to take decisive action to end the violence.

“The continued killings in Plateau State and other parts of Nigeria are heartbreaking and deeply troubling,” he said.

“It is becoming increasingly difficult to comprehend how citizens are repeatedly attacked and killed without any clear resolution.

“The conduct of the President and the APC-led government is creating the impression that Nigeria lacks effective leadership, sending a negative message to both citizens and the international community.”
