Popular Political Analyst Reveals Outcome of Obi, Atiku’s Case at Tribunal

Human rights activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju has predicted that the ongoing presidential election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja will rule in favour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Adeyanju made his prediction in a tweet on Wednesday, July 12. He said that the tribunal would throw out the petitions of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi.

Adeyanju’s prediction was met with mixed reactions. Some political analysts agreed with his prediction, while others disagreed.

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party have been challenging Tinubu’s victory at the February 25 presidential polls.

Both Obi and Atiku have closed their petitions against Tinubu’s victory. Tinubu and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as the electoral body, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), have also closed their defence.

The presiding judge, Justice Tsammani, had on July 6 said the parties would be communicated on the date to adopt the final written addresses.
