Eleven cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), bringing the number of cases in Nigeria to 81.
The health agency made this known on Friday evening via its Twitter handle. According to the NCDC, eight cases were confirmed in Lagos, two were reported in Enugu and confirmed in Edo State.
It added that As at 11:55 pm 27th March, there are 81 confirmed cases, three discharged and one death recorded.
It wrote: “11 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 8 in Lagos, 2 in Enugu & 1 in Edo State As at 11:55pm 27th March, there are 81 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 3 have been discharged with 1 death.
The center noted that the breakdown of cases by states as follows: Lagos- 52 FCT- 14 Ogun- 3 Ekiti- 1 Oyo- 3 Edo- 2 Bauchi- 2 Osun-1 Rivers-1 Enugu- 2.

AND ENUGU AIRPORT IS ALREADY CLOSED DOWN, IS IT FROM ENUGU-PH EXPRESS WAY WHICH I BELIEVED COULD HAVE BEEN LOCKED FROM AWGU SIDE. HOW DID THEY ENTER??????? NOW HOW DO YOU TRACE THE CONTACTS BOTH IN THE VILLAGES NOW? WORST HAVE HAPPENED.
