Plateau killings: “Some people want to sabotage your re-election” – Ex-Gov Jang tells Tinubu

A former governor of Plateau State, Jonah Jang has alleged that some individuals are plotting to sabotage the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
Jang made the allegation during the president’s visit to Jos, Plateau State capital city on Thursday, April 2.
The president was in Jos to commiserate with families of the victims of the recent bandit attacks and killings in the Angwan Rukuba in Jos North Local Government Area.
Speaking directly to the president, Jang said those plotting his failure at the forthcoming election will fail.
“Your Excellency, I think some people want to sabotage these coming elections, and by the grace of God we will not allow them,” Jang said.
According to the former governor, the president is currently “doing a fantastic job”, and will surely be re-elected for his second term.
“Some people think they want to spoil it at this last tail end of the first tenure. By the grace of God, you’ll come back to accomplish the work.
“I look forward, Your Excellency, to coming to Abuja so that we really have a heart-to-heart talk. God bless you, and I wish you a safe journey and a very happy Easter,” he added.
