“I’m the Most Abused Politician in Nigeria After Tinubu” — Wike Cries Out [VIDEO]

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said he is one of the most criticised politicians in the country today.

He made the remark during a media chat where he spoke on governance, revenue generation, and ongoing reforms in Abuja.

Wike, while addressing journalists, expressed concern over what he described as constant attacks on his person.

According to him, “I think no politician has received more abuse than I have. I think, after the president, I am the one receiving the highest level of abuse.”

He said the criticism has been persistent despite his efforts to improve administration in the FCT.

The minister spoke during a press session covered by TVC News and monitored by POLITICS NIGERIA.

He used the opportunity to defend his policies and leadership style since assuming office. He said many of the criticisms are politically motivated and not based on facts.

Wike also addressed issues around Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) in the FCT. He said his administration is focused on improving revenue collection to fund infrastructure and development projects.

He also highlighted ongoing development projects across Abuja. Wike said several road constructions, area council projects, and urban renewal efforts are currently in progress. He added that his administration is committed to delivering visible results within a short period.

Despite the criticisms, Wike maintained that he remains focused on his job. He said he will not be distracted by negative comments but will continue to serve in the interest of the public.
