The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairpersons in the Northwest zone have unitedly endorsed former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje as the party’s national chairman.
A tweep, Abdul-Aziz Na’ibi Abubakar, on Wednesday, July 26, shared the resolve of the northern APC chairpersons.
In a signed statement, the northern politicians noted that Ganduje has contributed immensely to the growth of the ruling party and, as such, deserves the support to emerge as the national chairman.
Moreover, they noted that the former Kano governor had built human bridges across Nigeria, which places him above other candidates for the office.
They concluded that backing Ganduje for the position was based on his maturity, steadfastness, experience, and resilience.
The northern APC chairpersons are those of Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, and Katsina.
Their endorsement comes 24 hours after the APC ward chairmen nationwide endorsed Ganduje for the position.
