Governor Idris Pledges to Deliver Kebbi State for Tinubu in 2027 Elections

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has pledged to deliver the state for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

The governor made the declaration on Monday while speaking to journalists after a stakeholders’ meeting in Birnin Kebbi, which focused on key issues affecting the ruling party and strategies to strengthen its position ahead of upcoming elections.

“This is a stakeholders’ meeting; we have met and discussed issues that directly affect our party,” Idris said, adding that the outcomes and resolutions would be shared through the state Commissioner for Information.

He expressed confidence in the All Progressives Congress (APC), noting that the party remains firmly rooted in Kebbi State and enjoys continued support from residents, who are committed to ensuring its success at both state and national levels.

The meeting, reported by the News Agency of Nigeria, was attended by top political figures, including the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu, Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs, Yusuf Tanko-Sununu, and Senators Adamu Aliero and Yahaya Abdullahi, among other stakeholders.
