Abdullahi Ganduje, former governor of Kano state, visited Abdullahi Adamu, immediate past chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Abuja on Friday, July 28.
There are speculations that Ganduje is being considered to succeed Adamu as the party’s chairman.
Ganduje had promised to reform the APC in line with the current realities if he succeeds as the party’s acting chairman.
It is not clear if his visit is connected to his ambition to lead the ruling party.
Recall that Adamu submitted his letter of resignation to Femi Gbajabiamila, the chief of staff to the president, after some internal troubles in the party.
Adamu was a senator representing Nasarawa West before he emerged as the ruling party’s national chairman last year.
