BREAKING: Gbajabiamila submits Tinubu’s supplementary ministerial list to Senate

The Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, has just submitted President Bola Tinubu’s supplementary ministerial list to the Senate.

The immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives submitted the second list with the second batch of ministerial nominees to Senate President Godswill Akpabio at exactly 03:19 pm.

Gbajabiamila had last Thursday submitted the first list with 28 nominees to the red chamber and said more names would be forwarded to the upper chamber.

Some states like Akwa Ibom, Lagos, and Kano had no ministerial nominee in the first list submitted to the upper chamber.

Akpabio is expected to read the names to his colleagues, while their screening would commence almost immediately.

President Tinubu is expected to name 42 senior and junior ministers to be part of his cabinet.

Each geo-political zone would have one extra minister after the states are represented in the Federal Executive Council.
