JUST IN: Edo Deputy Governor Loses Mother After Brief Illness

Madam Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa (née Enabulele), mother of Edo State Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa, has passed away at the age of 95.
She died on Wednesday following a brief illness.
A statement from the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Friday Aghedo, described Madam Idahosa as a venerable matriarch whose long and fulfilling life was marked by unwavering faith, strength of character, and dedication to her family and the wider community.
“Her remarkable legacy of wisdom was a source of pride and inspiration to all who knew her,” the statement said.
The Idahosa family expressed gratitude to God for her life and the enduring values she instilled, noting that these principles would continue to guide future generations. They also requested prayers and understanding as they mourned the loss of their beloved mother.
