“We Are 2000 Percent Behind Him” — Akpabio Reaffirms NASS Support for Tinubu

The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has reaffirmed the National Assembly’s strong backing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that lawmakers are “2000 percent” in support of his administration.
Akpabio made the remark on Wednesday in Lagos while representing the President at the inauguration of the Ojota-Opebi link bridge, E-GIS, and Alausa complex.
Describing Tinubu as a visionary leader, the Senate President said the President is committed to fulfilling his purpose for the country.
“Tinubu is not just a visionary or a man on a mission; he is determined to fulfil his purpose for this country, and we in the National Assembly are very proud of him,” Akpabio said.
He added that the legislature would continue to support the President in delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians.
“We are 2000 percent behind him, and we will ensure that he succeeds in delivering for the people,” he stated.
Akpabio also revealed that he had to cancel an international engagement to represent the President at the event, describing the invitation as a priority.
He commended the projects inaugurated, noting that they reflect ongoing development efforts under the current administration.
